€2 billion aid package for citizens and businesses
Following extensive damage to homes and businesses caused by heavy rainfall, we doubled our aid package to Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Marche – making €2 billion available to all people and companies in the affected areas.
In addition, we allocated resources for the implementation of projects to support the social development of the flooded areas. For example, we are supporting socio-cultural initiatives that can regenerate ‘spaces’ and transform them into ‘places' that can bring people and businesses together for the benefit of all.
Through these initiatives, we confirm our ongoing commitment to help the region's businesses and citizens, listening to their needs in order to provide concrete solutions and be a stable and reliable partner, especially in the delicate phase of restarting."
